Thank you for your interest in partnering with The HIVE to deliver high-impact expertise to Virginia Beach’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. We are currently seeking specialized programs, cohorts, and technical assistance initiatives that drive measurable economic growth.

Partners may propose programs with a total budget not to exceed $4,000. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; however, due to the competitive nature of this funding, approval is based on alignment with City economic priorities and the availability of fiscal year funds. Once the annual budget is reached, the application period will close until July 2026.

You will receive a status update within two business weeks of your submission.

Please upload a brief proposal (max 2 pages). To be eligible for the $4,000 funding cap, your proposal must clearly state:

• Cost Breakdown: Itemize your total request (Instructional fees, materials, and overhead).
• Measurable Impact: List at least 3 specific KPIs (e.g., jobs created, capital accessed, or businesses served).
• Session Deliverables: A summary of topics covered and the tangible asset participants will receive (e.g., a marketing plan or financial audit).
• Target Audience: Define who benefits most and how this meets City of Virginia Beach priorities.

I understand that if selected, I must register as a City Vendor to receive payment and provide a W2.
